How Preact’s Course Manager CRM App Helps Training Providers Reduce Admin, Minimise Costs, & Improve Delegate Experiences
Are you in the training industry? Finding your processes outdated and complicated?
With many years’ experience implementing and supporting CRM solutions for training organisations, Preact can help modernise your processes to meet the day-to-day challenges you face.
Course Manager is our dedicated CRM application for training providers built on the Microsoft Power Platform, so it natively connects with Outlook, Power BI, Dynamics 365 and other Power Apps, and can integrate with your key applications.
Here are just a few examples to demonstrate how Course Manager will enable you to transform your processes to reduce admin, maximise your resources and enhance delegate experiences.
Track the processes that matter to you.
As a purpose-built product for training providers, Course Manager already includes specialist processes, so costs aren’t incurred to customise and adapt a CRM system to fit a training requirement.
Out-of-the-box, this covers functionality to manage courses, delegates, resources, venues and bookings.
One system to manage any course type
Whether your organisation delivers in-house events, workshops, seminars or other course types, Course Manager will adapt to fit your processes.
Centralised Course Catalogue
Track each repeatable course in one convenient location that is easily accessible to everyone within your business by desktop or mobile device.
This can include one day workshops, online starter sessions and multi-day training events. If your organisation awards post-training certifications, prebuilt functionality allows you to include these processes and define timelines for certificate validity.
Quickly Check Upcoming Courses
Is time wasted checking course information because data is held in spreadsheets?
Course Manager securely stores data in the cloud, so course administrators, sales and service teams have real-time access to course and booking detail. For each course, users can check the date, duration, delegate capacity and how many spaces are currently available to quickly respond to new enquiries.
View all courses in a single list, or quickly filter views to show courses based on any criteria including course type and date range.
Simplify booking processes
Process bookings for one, or more, delegates on any scheduled course and use inbuilt functionality to initially set a provisional booking status until these are confirmed, or when payment is confirmed. Course Manager allows users to hold provisional bookings for a limited number of days to ensure accurate availability is shown for each course that will help everyone maximise booking capacities.
Streamline joining instructions
Once each booking is finalised, payment details and full delegate information can be tracked in Course Manager. Administrators are able to email joining instructions directly from Course Manager, without the need to jump into Outlook or another email app.
From the guided prompt, select the appropriate email template and a document attachment, if appropriate.
In just a few quick steps, a personalised message will be sent to each delegate on the booking with all the information needed in readiness for their training.
Course administrators can define individual sessions that will run throughout each training event. Using the session builder, dates and times can be added to define the timeline and running order. Within each session, options include automatic delegate enrolment, associate venues and rooms and default trainers.
Manage each trainer
Each trainer is tracked as a resource in Course Manager detailing their skills, qualifications and competencies, together with details of the rates for external trainers. For individual sessions, prospective resources can be shortlisted enabling course administrators to send invitations in a single step using email templates that are automatically personalised with detail about this session.
Course Manager is a Power App built on the Microsoft Power Platform. This has the same intuitive look and feel as most Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, but crucially this is licensed as a Power App at a fraction of the price.
