ACT! Premium extended functionality

In addition to the functions of the ACT! Pro edition, ACT! Premium offers:

Sage ACT! Contacts Web Access
  • ACT! Premium for Web software enabling mobile users to share ACT! data in real time with office based users
  • ACT! users can access ACT! data through a traditional Windows client installation and/or a web browser
Extended scalability
  • Supports from 1 to 100+ users. The ACT! Pro edition is restricted to a maximum of 10 users.
  • Offers extra processing capacity for larger contact databases.¹
  • Supplied with Microsoft SQL Server Express 2008 but can be installed using SQL Server Standard 2008 (not supplied)
Advanced data security controls
  • Restrict user access to specific ACT! records
  • Field level security restrictions include options for 'read-only' & 'don't show' fields
  • Custom user security permissions include options to withhold rights for deleting records, export to Excel, perform database administration and synchronise data
  • Group users into teams to manage contact access en masse to avoid spending time configuring multiple, identical user settings
Sage ACT! Contacts Enhanced Group Scheduling & Calendars
  • Check availability for anyone in a team at a glance and send activity or meeting notices to the entire group
  • Manage shared resources like IT equipment and meeting rooms from ACT!, check availability and make reservations
  • View ACT! activities for over 10 ACT! users
Sage ACT! Contacts Team dashboards
  • ACT! Premium dashboards allow managers to quickly assess performance & data for an entire team. ACT! Pro dashboards are limited to individual user displays only.
  • Includes administration, sales team, activity & contact dashboards
Extra installation & set-up options
  • Install, activate & register ACT! Premium from a server and apply the deployment of ACT! to different users on the network by silent install²
  • Simultaneously create up to as many as 50 remote databases to simplify the set-up process for large teams of remote users

  • SA Password - the Systems Administrator Password is available on request enabling the ACT! SQL database to be opened up for external back up processes and reporting
  • ACT! Reader - available upon request providing access to all ACT! tables within the database for reporting purposes
  • OLEDB Provider - Object Linking & Embedding Database provides access to the data stored in the ACT! database
