Postcode Anywhere software provides flexible and cost effective access to UK and international addresses. The service is simple to set up and integrates with ACT! ensuring contact records are updated accurately and quickly.

Available as a fully hosted .NET web service or a local solution which is updated via the web, Postcode Anywhere provides instant access to up-to-date address information. When contact details are input into ACT! manually, there is a likelihood of mistakes being made, possibly resulting in a delivery or brochure going astray.

Per Server Unlimited

3 Deployment Options

Desktop Client

Postcode Anywhere Desktop client software enables users to lookup addresses and postcodes from your PC and use them within ACT! The software uses a recogniser to tell when you've typed in a postcode and will react accordingly, entering your chosen address into ACT!. Alternatively the software comes with its own interface for seamless integration into ACT! and other systems.

Two levels of data are available: premises level and street level. Premises level data details every complete address in the UK, whereas street level data will omit  building details restricting the detail to road, town/city, county and postcode. Postcode data is delivered via the internet so data is instantly refreshed for new address searches.

The desktop client edition is available on a per user basis.

Hosted Web Service

Postcode Anywhere is a .NET based web service and there are various means by which you can access the service. Along with the standard web service SOAP interface, an XML service is offered, a record set service, a dataset service and a CSV service. Since the data is XML based it makes the web service the ideal approach to integrating address lookups and our other services into most applications. If you're using FileMaker Pro, for example, you can use the XML service to add address management into your database - a few requests to the service is all it takes.

Hosted web service licensing is available on a per server basis.

Local Web Service

In addition to the above hosted web service, Postcode Anywhere allows address management to be run as a locally hosted web service. Postcode Anywhere will  run on your servers providing a web service with which to provide your organisation with complete address management. As with the hosted web service there are options to use the XML, CSV, record set and dataset services in addition to the standard SOAP interface - something to suit all development tastes.
