Through the dual access of ACT! Premium, users can be granted permission to access shared ACT! data through a traditional Windows client installation and/or a web browser.
Each ACT! Premium licence includes Windows client and web access capability so there's no premium to pay if users need the flexibility being able to use ACT! from an office installation as well as having mobile web access.
ACT! Premium for Web includes all the functionality of ACT! 2011 to manage contacts, track sales, schedule activities and make efficient use of your time.

ACT! Premium for Web software is installed on a server so no client installation is needed. With the software centrally managed and administered, remote employees have access to the most recent product updates as well as all the layouts and reports consistent with the main office.
Apply access permissions to contact records for individuals and teams centrally
Field level security allows administrators to control access to specific fields including read-only access and hiding the field completely
Automate database maintenance - set database management times to automate the ACT! back-up even when the database isn't open
Supports load balancing - organisation using multiple servers can load balance to maintain optimal performance
Regulate password settings - define expiry options, password alpha &/or numeric format and password re-use capability
An ACT! contact database will typically be installed on a client server.
