Preact CRM Training Videos - System Requirements

• Internet Browsers: Internet Explorer Version 6, 7 or 8
• Screen Resolution: Optimised for 1024x768 screens 

Before you can play our CRM training videos you must first make some simple changes to your Internet browser settings:

1. Add us to your Trusted Sites
To stream our training videos you must add http://www.preact.co.uk to your trusted sites in Internet Explorer: Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > Custom Level - see how

2. Amend Active X Controls for Trusted Sites
Our videos use Active X controls. You may need to apply custom internet security settings before you can stream our videos. To check and, if necessary, change your Active X controls in Internet Explorer click the trusted sites Custom Level in your security setting.

Your Active X controls should be set to the following:

• Automatic Prompting for Active X Controls - ENABLE
• Download unsigned Active X Controls - ENABLE or PROMPT
• Run Active X controls & plug-ins - ENABLE

3. Allow Pop-ups

• Our training videos open in a new browser window so you will need to allow pops ups from www.preact.co.uk.

4. Install CAB file

• When you play a video for the first time you will be prompted to install a Preact CAB file so please click INSTALL to run this.

4. Watch in full screen

• To follow training videos in full screen view click the full screen option in the bottom right corner of the player as highlighted below. The full screen view is optimised for 1024x768 screens.
  

Registering for CRM videos

Our online CRM training videos are available on a subscription basis. Individuals and organisations can purchase an annual subscription to access our catalogue of training videos that are specific to the CRM product they are using. Currently our video library covers ACT! and GoldMine.

FREE VIDEOS: Some selected training videos and all of our demonstration videos are freely available to registered users.

Training video access is also available to customers that purchase PreactCover Premium Support. This service includes annual phone support and access to our online CRM training videos that are specific to their CRM system.

All users may browse our video content by module using the carousel in the top right corner of our training video pages. Click the arrows to spin the carousel and click a carousel button to filter videos by the chosen category.

Accessing our CRM training videos

Our CRM training videos are accessible from the Preact Resources Centre at www.preact.co.uk/resources, access is controlled by secure user-name and password log-in. Full access to our CRM training videos is only available to subscribers and PreactCover Premium Support customers.

Authorised Preact resource centre users will be able to access training video resources from a maximum of TWO unique computers on a non-concurrent basis. Authorised users shall be granted permission to launch each unique training video resource, specific to their CRM product, up to a maximum of 20 times.

User administration

Organisations that subscribe to access Preact CRM training videos or purchase PreactCover Premium Support may nominate a maximum of two administrators who will be able to manage their authorised users access to training video content in the Preact Preact Resources Centre.

User Administrators will be able to access the following controls using the My Account menu in the Preact Portal to enable and restrict user access:

User Restriction Management – administrators can define which training levels that individual portal users can access by suppressing modules that may be inconsistent with their immediate training objectives and / or job role. As a default setting systems administrator training topics are withheld from regular authorised Preact Resources Centre users though administrators can remove this restriction. 

Implementation User Management – administrators can add and remove Preact Resources Centre users as required though the number of authorised users cannot exceed the registered number of CRM licences that you have purchased.
